Tim is a multi-award winning stand up comedian, comedy producer and podcaster. Having played to sold out crowds across New Zealand, Australia and the USA, he’s been awarded Outstanding Artist Achievement by the NZ Comedy Guild, in addition to Best Producer (twice) and Outstanding Contribution to the Industry. Tim has always been passionate about the comedy community and previously served as co-Chair of the NZ Comedy Guild and then as a Director for the NZ Comedy Trust for five years.
In podcasting, Tim started his own independent network (Little Empire) off the success of his and Guy Mongomery’s show, The Worst Idea of All Time which has racked up over 20 million downloads and thousands of fans around the globe. He’s twice been awarded the Best Comedy Podcast award at the NZ Podcast Awards (for Did Titanic Sink? and Socrates Walks Into A Bar). Shows he produces on his network include The Male Gayz with Chris Parker and Eli Matthewson, Rats In The Gutter with Johanna Cosgrove and Sam Te Kani, and Boners of the Heart with Rose Matafeo and Alice Snedden.
Paul’s always been passionate about live events starting from a young age where he became a Ballroom Dancing champion at the age of 10. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Accounting from the University of Canterbury. Instead of taking the traditional Accountant route, he joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a Logistics Specialist where he served for 4 years. After his time in the RNZAF, Paul worked as a Purchasing and Estimating Manager in the Automotive industry for 3 years. Today he works as a Supply Chain Manager for a Pharmaceuticals Wholesaler.
Tim and Paul joined forces in 2023 to create TAP Live Events, a business absolutely driven to elevate live comedy experiences for both audiences and performers.
